NEUROWELL HUB
NEUROWELL HUB
WHO ARE WE?
Feeling a bit mental?
Going out of your mind?
Does your brain not click but, at the same time, just won’t quit?
We’ve got you covered.
NeuroWell Hub is a space for neurodivergent adults across Wirral who want a place to escape to when things get a bit too much. When you want to learn more about the condition you have, meet people like you, learn personalised coping techniques and more.
Most importantly, NeuroWell Hub is a place where you can meet others who get ‘it’ and ‘get ‘you’.
Adults who have been diagnosed late with a condition like autism, ADHD, or are sure they have it and want to explore their next steps in an environment that doesn’t judge.
We’re not here to “fix” you. We’re here to support those who feel like they stick out like a sore thumb, no matter where they go or what they do.
We’re here for you with a no-pressure, non-patronising, neuro-affirming service for adults who’ve been overlooked for too long.
ADHD, autism, or just wired a bit different?
you’ll fit right in.
Same…
Feeling a bit mental?
Our approach at NeuroWell Hub is to tell it like it is and not hold back.
We’ve played by the rules for so long and society can have a short temper.
We’re not going to be able to rewrite the rules - but we can set our own, for us, to help us destress and learn about adult neurodivergency in a way that’s comfortable, relatable and helps us better adapt to a world that’s still trying to understand what we’re all about.
Together.
we’re here to help you.
Sensory-Friendly Well-Being Sessions
Mindfulness, movement therapy, creative workshops, and guided relaxation designed with neurodivergent needs in mind.
In short, that’s learning to understand why we hyperfocus on certain things, like certain textures, explore and try new things we usually wouldn’t outside of our comfort zones, with people who won’t laugh or sneer if you have a certain diet or can’t wear a specific fabric.
Peer-Led Support Groups
A space for shared experiences, self-advocacy, and social connection.
This means we won’t judge. How can we when we’ve stumbled and bumbled through life ourselves, blurting out something daft at totally inappropriate times or putting a square peg in a round hole at the critical stage of a project? Sharing is the best way of caring - let’s laugh about it together.
Specialist Workshops
Covering topics like self-regulation, executive functioning strategies, and managing burnout.
The neurodivergent brain is wired differently. Where a neurotypical person may be able to shrug off a simple mistake at work, it can give the neurodivergent adult sleepless nights, play on their mind and become an unavoidable road bump in their daily lives. We’ll help you deal with it, cope, and make sense of it all.
1:1 Support & Signposting
Guidance on employment, education, and accessing further mental health services.
We told you, we’ve been there and done it ourselves — but we’re not perfect and can’t offer a cure. However, we’re there for you, and want to help you live the life you deserve. If we can’t help you crack the code, then one of our specialists might be able to dig a little deeper, or point you in the right direction with hope in your heart.
Tailored Support for Vulnerable Groups
Specialist services for neurodivergent individuals experiencing domestic violence, those leaving prison, and others at higher risk of social exclusion.
The sad truth is people can take advantage of neurodivergent adults, from small ways like peer pressure to get their own way to the worst kind of physical and mental torment. It’s here where we say, yes, we also have that T-shirt…
F*ck it - come with us.
